Guest: Jo Kill

Jo Kill is a wonderfully creative cardmaker and paper crafter whose work regularly [and rightly!] appears in several crafting magazines. Always beautiful:

.... and frequently whimsical and quirky:

....Jo's monthly features in Papercraft Inspirations magazine are the pages I turn to first when my magazine drops through the door.

If you weren't already aware, we're hosting a competion in which you can win a year's subscription to Papercraft's Inspirations. You will need to read the full details here but basically all you need to do to enter is to create a project which features an image from the free downloads designed by Kirsty.

We asked Jo to tell us where her inspiration comes from and to inspire us by creating something using the downloads. Here's Jo:
Happy Birthday!

My inspiration seems to come from everywhere!
Television adverts, films, clothing, colours, patterns or sometimes, an idea just pops into my head! I like taking a theme and putting my own twist onto it, magazines, online blogs and gallerys are fabulous for gleaning ideas.
I was inspired to make these cards by taking Kirsty's beautiful images as a starting point and making the cards from there.

Thank you for inviting me to be guest at your first birthday party. Have a marvellous time and I hope that you celebrate many more!
Many, many thanks Jo for your beautiful work and for your good wishes. We really appreciate it!

If you'd like to see more of Jo's work [and I'm not sure why you wouldn't!] then do visit her blog and remember ....

.... if do you join in the competition you can have her work in Papercraft Inspirations delivered right to your door for a whole year!
